Ingredients

  • 8 cups apple cider
  • 1 orange
  • 1 lemon
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon whole allspice
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 cups cold water

Directions

Squeeze the juice from oranges and lemons. Put juice aside. Boil orange and lemon rinds with spices and water. Simmer 1 hour. Strain and add sugar, cider and juice. Serve hot.
