Plumberry Granita

A perfect summer treat

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pitted dried plums
  • 6 tablespoons hot water
  • 4 cups white grape juice
  • 10 ounces frozen raspberries, partially thawed
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

Directions

In blender container, combine dried plums and water process until finely chopped. Add grape juice, raspberries and lemon juice process until blended. Pour into shallow pan freeze 2 hours, stirring every 30 minutes. Freese an additionsal 1 to 2 hours or until firm, but not solid. To serve, let stand at room temperature to soften slightly stir or break up as necessary, to form coarse textrue. Tip Granitas should be served slightly thawed. Leftover granita may be refrozen in covered container let stand and break up before serving.
