Dosing
How to take
- All products:
- To gain the most benefit, do not miss doses.
- Oral:
- Take with or without food. Take with food if it causes an upset stomach.
- There is a liquid (solution) if you cannot swallow pills. Shake well before use.
- Those who have feeding tubes may also use the liquid. Flush the feeding tube before and after this drug is given.
- Shot:
- It is given as a shot into a muscle, under the skin, or into a vein.
- Your doctor will teach you how to give the shot.
- Wash your hands before and after use.
- Throw away needles in a needle/sharp disposal box and take the box back to your doctor when it is full.
