- It is used to treat hemophilia.
- It is used to treat von Willebrand disease.
- It is used to stop and treat bleeding.
- Antihemophilic factor/von Willebrand factor complex (human) replaces proteins to stop bleeding.
Dosing
How to take
- It is given as a shot into a vein.
- This drug may be given at home.
- Your doctor may teach you how to give the shot.
- Wash your hands before and after use.
- Throw away needles in a needle/sharp disposal box and take the box back to your doctor when it is full.
