- Colchicine lowers the deposits of crystals in the joint.
- It lowers swelling and pain.
- Probenecid lowers uric acid.
Dosing
How to take
- Follow how to take this drug as you have been told by your doctor. Do not use more than you were told to use.
- Take with or without food. Take with food if it causes an upset stomach.
- Drink lots of noncaffeine liquids unless told to drink less liquid by your doctor.
