Uses
- It is used to treat swelling after cataract surgery.
- It is used to treat pain and sun sensitivity in patients who have had cornea surgery.
- Diclofenac blocks chemicals that cause pain and swelling.
Dosing
How to take
- For the eye only.
- Do not wear contact lenses while using this drug.
- Do not touch the container tip to the eye, lid, or other skin.
- Tilt your head back and drop drug into the eye.
- After use, keep your eyes closed. Put pressure on the inside corner of the eye. Do this for 1 to 2 minutes. This keeps the drug in your eye.
- Space each eye drug by 5 minutes.
- If you had surgery on both eyes your doctor may order 2 eye drop bottles. One for each eye. Make sure you do not mix the 2 bottles up.
