- It is used to treat migraine headaches.
- Eletriptan lowers swelling of the blood vessels in the brain that cause the migraine.
Dosing
How to take
- Take with or without food. Take with food if it causes an upset stomach.
- If your headache comes back after the first dose, 1 more dose may be taken 2 hours after the first one.
- Keep a diary of your headaches.
