Uses
- It is used to treat HIV infection.
- Etravirine works to harm the virus and fight the infection.
Dosing
How to take
- Use as you have been told, even if you are feeling better.
- To gain the most benefit, do not miss doses.
- Take after meals.
- Take with a full glass of water.
- Swallow whole. Do not chew, break, or crush.
- You may melt tablets in 1 teaspoon (5 mL) of water. Stir until it looks milky and then add more water, orange juice, or milk only. Drink right away. Rinse cup with more water, orange juice, or milk and drink. This can be done a few times to make sure the full dose has been taken.
