Uses
- Medium chain triglyceride oil is used as a diet aid.
- It may be used if you have malabsorption syndrome.
- It may be used in a ketogenic diet.
- Medium chain triglycerides add fat to the diet.
Dosing
How to take
- Take as you have been told by your doctor.
- Take with the same amount of water or fruit juice.
- Drink slowly.
- Take with food to stop an upset stomach.
- You may use as salad dressing or in cooking.
- Those who have feeding tubes may also use the liquid. Flush the feeding tube before and after this drug is given.
