Opium Tincture
Uses
- It is used to treat loose stools (diarrhea).
- Opium tincture slows movement in the GI (gastrointestinal) tract by letting more water get into it.
- It lowers the feeling of pain and how one reacts to pain.
Dosing
How to take
- Take with or without food. Take with food if it causes an upset stomach.
- Drink lots of noncaffeine liquids unless told to drink less liquid by your doctor.
