Uses

It is used to ease allergy signs.
It is used to treat nose stuffiness.
Diphenhydramine lowers or stops the body's reaction to the allergen.
Phenylephrine shrinks swollen nose tissue and opens up passages.

Dosing

How to take
Take with or without food. Take with food if it causes an upset stomach.
Chewable tablet: Chew or crush well. Mix crushed tablet with food. Do not swallow it whole.
There is a liquid (suspension, syrup) if you cannot swallow pills. Shake suspension well before use.
Those who have feeding tubes may also use the liquid. Flush the feeding tube before and after this drug is given.
Drink lots of noncaffeine liquids unless told to drink less liquid by your doctor.
