Uses
- It is used to stop or treat yeast infections.
- Clotrimazole works to harm the yeast and fight the infection.
Dosing
How to take
- Use as you have been told, even if you are feeling better.
- Skin:
- Do not take this drug by mouth. Use on your skin only. Keep out of your mouth, nose, and eyes (may burn).
- Wash your hands before and after use.
- Clean affected part before use. Make sure to dry well.
- Put a thin layer on the affected skin and rub in gently.
- Vaginal:
- Use tablet or cream vaginally.
- Do not mix-up vaginal tablet with the oral lozenge.
- Use at bedtime for best results.
- Keep out of your mouth, nose, and eyes (may burn).
- Wash your hands before and after use.
- Do not use tampons.
