Uses
- It is used to treat high calcium levels.
- Clodronate lowers bone loss.
Dosing
How to take
- Drink lots of noncaffeine liquids unless told to drink less liquid by your doctor.
- Oral:
- Take with a full glass of water.
- Swallow whole. Do not chew, break, or crush.
- Bonefos?: Take on an empty stomach. Take 2 hours before or 2 hours after meals.
- Clasteon?: Take on an empty stomach. Take 1 hour before or 1 hour after meals.
- Shot:
- It is given as a shot into a vein over a period of time.
