Uses
- It is used to stop or treat bacterial infections.
- Clindamycin works to harm the bacteria and fight the infection.
Dosing
How to take
- To gain the most benefit, do not miss doses.
- Use as you have been told, even if you are feeling better.
- Skin:
- Do not take this drug by mouth. Use on your skin only. Keep out of your mouth, nose, and eyes (may burn).
- Shake lotion well before use.
- Take pledget out of foil. Use once and throw away.
- Wash your hands before and after use.
- Clean affected part before use. Make sure to dry well.
- Put a thin layer on the affected skin and rub in gently.
- Put foam onto a cool surface or into a cap. Do not place foam in your hands.
- Vaginal:
- Use suppository or cream vaginally.
- Keep out of your mouth, nose, and eyes (may burn).
- Take off foil wrapper.
- Use at bedtime.
- Do not have sex while using this drug.
