Uses
- It is used to treat swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat.
- Icatibant lowers swelling.
Dosing
How to take
- It is given as a shot into the fatty part of the belly.
- Your doctor may teach you how to give the shot.
- Wash your hands before and after use.
- Throw away needles in a needle/sharp disposal box and take the box back to your doctor when it is full.
- Do not use more than 3 doses in a 24 hour period.
