Uses
- It is used to ease too much gas in the GI (gastrointestinal) tract.
- Simethicone eases the pressure caused by gas.
Dosing
How to take
- Take after meals and at bedtime.
- Chewable tablet:
- Chew or crush tablet well. Mix crushed tablet with food. Do not swallow tablet whole.
- Oral strip:
- Place oral strip on your tongue and let melt.
- Liquid:
- Shake well before use.
- Liquid (drops) may be mixed with water.
- Those who have feeding tubes may also use the liquid. Flush the feeding tube before and after this drug is given.
