Uses
- It is used to ease pain and swelling of arthritis.
- Anakinra blocks a chemical that causes pain and swelling in the joints.
Dosing
How to take
- It is given as a shot into the fatty part of the skin.
- Your doctor may teach you how to give the shot.
- Give at the same time of day.
- Wash your hands before and after use.
- Move the site where you give the shot with each shot.
- Throw syringe away after use. Do not use more than one time.
- Throw away needles in a needle/sharp disposal box and take the box back to your doctor when it is full.
