Uses
- It is used to treat hard stools (constipation).
- Mineral oil lubricates the bowel.
- It softens the stool.
Dosing
How to take
- All products:
- Drink lots of noncaffeine liquids unless told to drink less liquid by your doctor.
- Oral:
- Take at bedtime. Do not lie down while taking this drug.
- Take on an empty stomach. Take 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals.
- Kondremul: Shake well before use.
- Rectal:
- Use enema rectally.
- Follow how to use as you have been told by your doctor or read the package insert.
