- It is used to treat carnitine deficiencies.
- Carnitine helps the body work better. Levocarnitine adds carnitine to the body.
Dosing
How to take
- Oral:
- Take during or after meals.
- Split the daily dose into 2 or 3 doses.
- There is a liquid (solution) if you cannot swallow pills. Mix with water and drink slowly.
- Those who have feeding tubes may also use the liquid. Flush the feeding tube before and after this drug is given.
- Shot:
- It is given as a shot into a vein.
