Uses
- It is used to ease allergy signs.
- It is used to stop asthma.
- It is used to treat food allergies.
- It is used to treat inflammatory bowel disease.
- It is used to treat mastocytosis.
- Cromolyn lowers or stops the body's reaction to the allergen.
Dosing
How to take
- To gain the most benefit, do not miss doses.
- Keep taking this drug to stop the allergy. Once signs start, this drug will not help.
- Take 30 minutes before meals and at bedtime.
- Do not swallow ampul. Open it and empty powder into a 1/2 glass of hot water. Add a 1/2 glass of cold water. Mix and drink.
- There is also a solution for use in a special machine (nebulizer). Your doctor will teach you how to use this.
