Dosing
How to take
- Take in the morning if taking once a day.
- Take with food to stop an upset stomach.
- Oral-disintegrating tablet (Orapred ODTT): Place on your tongue and let it melt. Water is not needed. Do not swallow it whole. Do not chew, break, or crush it.
- There is a liquid (syrup) if you cannot swallow pills.
- Measure liquid doses carefully. Use the measuring device that comes with this drug.
- Those who have feeding tubes may also use the liquid. Flush the feeding tube before and after this drug is given.
- Take calcium and vitamin D as you were told by your doctor.
