Uses
- It is used to avoid or treat skin infections.
- Silver sulfadiazine works to harm the bacteria or yeast and fight the infection.
Dosing
How to take
- Do not take this drug by mouth. Use on your skin only. Keep out of your mouth, nose, and eyes (may burn).
- Wash your hands before and after use.
- Wear special gloves while putting this drug on.
- Clean affected part and take off dead skin.
- Put a thin layer on the affected part and rub in gently.
- Put on 1 or 2 times a day or as you have been told by your doctor.
- Use a dressing if needed.
