Uses
- It is used to stop or treat yeast infections.
- It is used to treat dandruff.
- Ketoconazole works to harm the yeast and fight the infection.
Dosing
How to take
- Skin, cream, foam, and gel:
- Do not take this drug by mouth. Use on your skin only. Keep out of your mouth, nose, and eyes (may burn).
- Wash your hands before and after use.
- Clean affected part before use. Make sure to dry well.
- Put a thin layer on the affected skin and rub in gently.
- Do not place foam or gel right in hands.
- Avoid fire, flames, or smoking until the foam or gel has dried.
- Skin, shampoo:
- Keep out of your mouth, nose, and eyes (may burn).
- Wet hair and scalp or skin.
- Put on enough shampoo to make a lather.
- Lather well and leave on as you have been told.
- Rinse.
