Uses
- It is used to treat pimples (acne).
- It is used to treat rosacea.
- It is used to control seborrheic dermatitis.
- Sulfur works to soften and shed unwanted skin.
- Sulfacetamide works to harm the bacteria and fight the infection.
Dosing
How to take
- Do not take this drug by mouth. Use on your skin only. Keep out of your mouth, nose, and eyes (may burn).
- Wash your hands before and after use.
- If peeling happens, lower the number of times the drug is used.
- Cleanser, Wash:
- Use on clean affected skin 1 or 2 times each day or as you have been told by your doctor.
- Cloth:
- Wet with water before use.
- Lather well and rinse.
- Cream, gel, or topical suspension:
- Clean affected part before use. Make sure to dry well.
- Shake suspension well before use.
- Put a thin layer on the affected part and rub in gently.
- Plexion SCT? : Allow skin to dry, rinse well, and pat dry.
