Uses
- It is used to open the airways in lung diseases where spasm may cause breathing problems.
- It is used to treat asthma. It may take 2 weeks to see the full effect.
- Mometasone stops or lowers irritation and swelling.
- Formoterol works in the airways to calm the muscles and help the flow of oxygen.
Dosing
How to take
- If you are using more than 1 type of puffer (inhaler), ask your doctor which puffer to use first.
- Prepare puffer (inhaler) before first use or when puffer has not been used for more than 5 days. Spray 4 test sprays into the air.
- For breathing in only.
- Shake well before use.
- Rinse out mouth after each use.
- Have your puffer (inhaler) use checked with your doctor at each visit. Read and follow facts on how to use the puffer. Make sure you use the puffer the right way.
